After having two kids and using many different types and styles of diaper bags, I like to think I know what I will really like and what will work well. I know what I will need to carry with me, and how I’d like the pockets and main area to be.

I’m so happy that diaper bag designers seem to have asked moms and know what they are looking for. I think that’s what kokopax has done. They’ve designed a fun and funky bag and they call it the samantha diaper tote™.

It’s modern and hip, and honestly, doesn’t look like a diaper bag. I can take my wallet and phone out of my purse, throw it in here, and use this bag as a diaper bag and purse in one.

It is made of 100 percent cotton canvas with a custom designed water-resistant lining, durable webbing and striking chocolate leather accents. It also has a very easy and strong magnetic closure offers making it easy to use one-handed. Inside, it features a zippered pocket, three extra-deep pockets and a beverage compartment. You can see the large zippered side pocket and the deep pockets on the other side.

Included with the tote is a padded diaper changing mat, perfect for being out on the go. It has the same little monkey logo on it. Super cute.

The dimensions are 20” x 5” x 14”, but I’m quite certain the bag goes much wider than 5″ when it’s filled. I put the changing pad, 5 cloth diapers, two changes of clothes, and a wipe holder in the bag and I still had more room (which is good, because my babies like pacifiers and like to spit up, so I’ll have to add some pacifiers and burp cloths, too). It looks small, but it sure can hold a lot.

This is after I filled it and used the magnetic closure to close the top. It’s hard to tell, but there is a lot of room left in the bag.

If you can’t tell, I really like the tote and can’t wait to put it to full use when our little one gets here. It’s already packed and ready for our first outing.
