Strollers have come a long way in the last 3 years since we purchased one. They have so many more options, arrangements and accessories. It’s amazing to me.

Kastel International introduced us to the Mutsy4Rider Light, in addition to their Rider range, Transporter, Duoseat and Easyrider strollers.

We have had the opportunity to test out the 4Rider Light.

There are so many different things you can do with this stroller!

For example, you can take the seat out put in optional bassinet. I wish I had the chance to check out the bassinet as I know a baby would love to lay in it. The stroller with the seat says it shouldn’t be used until somewhere between 4-6 months to start out.
You can also take the seat out and use optional car seat adapter to put in car seat. While this is a great option, we didn’t have the brand of car seat that the adapter would use.
You can take the seat out and put it in the optional babysitter rocker frame and you have a baby rocker.
You can take seat the out and put in the Mutsy Fun Seat for toddlers to “steer” and ride along.

As you can see, the options are quite amazing.

Right out of the box, it does seem a little overwhelming.

But, I assure you, I pulled out the directions (which were mostly pictures) and put the frame and seat together by myself in around 45 minutes (most of that was probably because I was playing with it as I put it together).

Mutsy’s 4Rider Light in Cargo Black is the superior baby transport choice for parents on the go. This lighter-weight version of the 4Rider has durable tires on jaunty spoked wheels for even more maneuverability. The frame was the first thing I put together. Immediately, I noticed the large wheels for easier turning and steering. Both sets of which were capable of being locked, or unlocked so you could turn it.

The handle height has 4 positions available, so it works for shorter me (at 5’5″) and taller hubby (at 6’3″) which is great. We have a hard time finding a stroller that is easy for both of us to push.

The seat reclines almost all the way to horizontal and the sun canopy is huge (which is plus for us!).

It features a very easy to access storage basket underneath. It isn’t huge and deep, but because of how easy it is to access, you can throw a diaper bag or other bag underneath it with great ease.

If you think you might need more room, you can purchase an optional shopping basket. This can be mounted underneath the stroller as shown here, or you can pop it out of the stroller and use it for shopping/carrying items.

The seat included has 4-positions, full recline with a head enclosure for small babies and a 3-position extendable leg rest. Also, it features a removable front bar and extra-large protective hood with a peep hole window.

The seat is incredibly easy to remove or put on. You just have to click to little buttons and your forward facing stroller is quickly converted to a

rear-facing stroller allowing you to keep an eye on your child. I think the rear facing is great for smaller kids you want to keep you eye on, and the forward-facing for bigger kids that want to check out their surroundings.

I know you are wondering, this stroller seems to have all the bells and whistles (no, there isn’t a drink holder or parent tray on the top), but how does it fold up?

Well, it’s a little on the bulky side. And, while the directions state it will stand up, I had a hard time getting it to stand up without propping it against a wall. It is on the larger and heavier side, but I’m able to pick it up and move it. I’m sure with use and practice I’ll feel even more confident using it.

And, yes, even a pretty tall 3.5 year old can fit in the stroller quite comfortably.

I’m excited to use it when our baby gets big enough to try it out. It’s smooth to push and turn and I was able to manage it with just one hand (with a 40lb kid in it!).
